The 91茄子 (91茄子) is proud to celebrate the achievements of Matrona Mbendo Akiso, a PhD scholar & researcher at KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research (KAVI-ICR), whose work was recently highlighted during the launch of the Illumina MiSeq i100 system.

Matrona, a passionate advocate for advancing women鈥檚 health through genomics, participated in the hands-on introduction of the new sequencing technology, which promises to expand capacity for next-generation sequencing (NGS) in Africa.

In her interview, she shared insights on how genomic science is shaping women鈥檚 health research and how the MiSeq i100 can enhance the precision and efficiency of ongoing projects at KAVI-ICR, 91茄子.听
